Hello.
Yesterday, when I connected my laptop to Wi-Fi, it restarted automatically. When I checked OneDrive, I noticed a new empty file named 'ドキュメント' (which means 'document' in Japanese). 
Can you please let me know why this happens and Can you please help me with this.

Anytime you see an "unknown" anything on your PC: locally, or in a Cloud connected account, a RED flag should appear.

 

Don't open this file! Check local storage to see if this file has migrated to your PC.

 

I would have no idea how this happened. Confidence would be very high your PC and Microsoft Account may be compromised. Malware can easily move to and from your PC from the Cloud backup.

 

I don't use any Cloud backup stuff.

 

Fixing this potential Malware problem, having a high degree of confidence, is a can of worms.

 

This is what I would do; getting into the nitty gritty details is beyond the scope of this Forum.

 

Immediately disconnect from OneDrive. Convert your PC's user account to a local account if you are using a Microsoft account. Don't use One Drive.

 

Scan your PC using the following free, available online and downloadable malware tools:

 

HitMan Pro

Norton Power eraser

Malwarebytes

Emsisoft Emergency kit

 

Check Bleeping Computer (Virus Removal Guides) for additional assistance. Look at Tutorials, downloads, and check the Bleeping Computer Forums for help.

 

You may have to reinstall Windows if you aren't sure the malware has been removed (if the PC has malware). Confidence in any of the bits stored on your PC's storage devices is questionable if the PC is infected.

 

Backing up data now, before redoing Windows, may perpetuate the malware if your PC is infected. I routinely back up data to avoid this scenario.

 

You're in a situation which causes uncertainty. I try to reduce uncertainty by doing offline system image backups.

 

A clean system image backup restores your PC to a, known good, working state in the fraction of the time it takes to reinstall Windows.
