HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15-ds1063cl
Microsoft Windows 11

I started a system bios update at roughly 10:30 pm, my computer needed an update and I thought nothing of it. It is now 9 am and my computer is still just a black screen. I watched it go through two of the Bios update screens then it turned black. I know the black screen is normal but for nearly 11 hours is too long. What do I do to get my laptop back?

I have a HP Envy x360 Laptop

Today I let a BIOS update load on my HP Envy (x360 15-ds1083cl), but it failed to start correctly after the update.

It now asks for a Microsoft BitLocker Recovery Key, which I do not have, as I have not installed BitLocker, nor the Windows 11 24H2 update that installs it by default. It appears I have a worthless brick, unless there is a way to correct the HP BIOS update or roll the BIOS back via USB. The HP website did not have a Windows 11 option when I entered my HP model.

I need to get back to the old BIOS, but do not have a clue on how to do that with the BitLocker Key screen.
