A quick summary of my issue
Windows starts, and I can log in but I cannot open installed programs (Task Manager, Command Prompt, etc.).
File Explorer works, but system commands like msconfig or restart/shutdown do not.
Restart or shutdown only works from the login screen. When I try to restart from the login, the computer will light up but I cannot see anything because the display does not work and my monitor shows me that it is off.
Attempts to enter Safe Mode using standard methods fail.
I purchased this computer in November of 2024.
The first time this problem occurred was on 01/01/2024 and I managed to resolve the issue by letting the computer just be and the computer automatically restarted on its own which when I logged in the next time my computer was working as normal. I checked the event viewer log and there was a bugcheck error (0x00000000000000f0, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000036, 0xffff8289a83df0c0). I then reinstalled and updated any drivers/windows.
This morning the issue occurred again but it was telling me that Windows failed to respond and hitting shutdown or cancel did nothing to help this issue. I managed to resolve the problem by letting my computer be and it automatically restarted on its own and when I checked the event viewer there was another bugcheck error0x00000080 (0x00000000004f4454, 0x000000000000000c, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). I changed my power settings to HP recommended settings and performed sfc/scannow which found corrupted files and repaired them. The next time I restarted my computer the issue was back and even letting it be does nothing. The computer does require an update but I can't even do that even from the login screen.
I have already contacted support which wasn't helpful and the next step might be me taking the computer to a HP repair store.

Greetings @EliexElie
Welcome back to the Forum.
Wow! You have some bad stuff happening with a fairly new PC.
Check your PC's hardware using HP Diagnostics as follows:
Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.
Select "F2". Run extensive system and component tests to confirm: a drive problem, a memory problem, or other component problem.
Your comments seem to suggest you may have previously reinstalled Windows but I am not sure if this is true.
Back up data if hardware tests look good.
Then try a Windows in-place upgrade if this option is available. This process is non-destructive.
Go to Settings>System> Recovery>Fix problems using Windows Update.
Your PC's state after the in-place upgrade should be identical to it's state prior to the in-place upgrade.
I've done it, it works as expected.
Your PC would have an undiagnosed hardware problem if the PC is unstable after doing an in-place upgrade.
Malware is on the table but the bad guys don't break PCs anymore. Modern malware is usually stealthy; the bad guys want your ID and your money.
HP Support should provide warranty service if you can demonstrate hardware failure.
