I need to perform a system  image recovery and have the following disk configuration:

2 x 500 GB drives in RAID 1 (500 GB usable storage capacity), 7200 rpm, SATA 3G (3.0 Gb/sec)

I 'm not sure if it has a software or hardware raid controller. I'm wondering if the system image restore will work properly. I assume all writes go to a primary disk. I'm hoping after the restore completes and I reboot I will see the the raidset is remirroing to the second drive and all will be ok.  I have seen this after a crash and the array gets corrupted. It resynchronizes the mirror.

Is there anything special that I need to to ensure success?

I restorted the image with no problem and when done the mirrors were sync'd.   Everything worked as expected. No further replies needed.  Thank you.

Adding more information.

This is the Raid-1 configuration that came new with the system. I see that Intel Matrix Storage Console 8.9 application is what manages the raid array.
