OK ... that is supposed to work such that, when you have a disk loaded, the PC automatically tries to boot from it.

Can you try the disk on another PC to at least see if that PC can boot from it?

If that works, then you need to go into the BIOS/UEFI settings (pressing F10 repeatedly on reboot) and disable Secure Boot.  Then when you reboot and press F9 to see the Boot Devices menu, the CD/DVD drive should show up there.

Hi

My F9 has Device Boot Options and when i press it, I dont get the kind of screenshot as indicated on step 3 of the link you sent me.

I also have F12-Network Boot,

                     F11-System Recovery,

                    F10 BIOS set up.

I pressed F10 and scrolled to security and on the drop down i saw secure boot configuration clicked it and it took me to Secure Boot which was enabled, I disabled it and rebooted with the disc in but when i pressed F9, i still didnt see the Disc option on the list

Try your drive on another computer if possible
try a disc that you are sure is bootable
Try to take a picture of your bios options with the dvd in the drive
