I have never been able to create a restore point on this computer.  I have tried everything with no success.  It appears that when trying to create the restore point it doesn't recognize my C drive or any other drive for that matter.  Has anyone else had this problem and would a windows 11 reset solve the issue.  I don't know what else to try.  Thanks

I get the above pop ups and my C drive is never found.  I have checked the shadow copy and have tried so many suggestions I found on the internet, I can't remember everything I have tried.  But nothing works.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thanks

Press the key +R
Type regedit and OK to open the Windows Registry Editor.
Scroll down the following tree structure on the left! HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71a27cdd-812a-11d0-bec7-08002be2092f}
On the right, check if the UpperFilters value is present.

Thank you.  I don't see an Upper Filter Value listed.  The snipit above is what I see.  What change do I need to make?  Thanks again.

HP Recommended

On the right, right click then “Multiple strings value”
Name the value UpperFilters and then double-click it.
Assign the value volsnap
Once done, restart your computer to take the changes into account.

be careful, I don't know what can happen in the event of an error, save your personal data beforehand, on an external drive usb

Good afternoon and thank you so much.  It worked.  I have been messing around with this issue and trying to get it fixed for months.  Thank you again and have a nice day.
