Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can not get full product key from system? Shows 20 of the 25 required. Really need office to work. HP 290-a0xxx/Windows 10 64bit

You're confusing two different product keys -- Windows and MS Office.  You don't need the Windows key to get Office working, as the paid version has its own key.  If you have the trial version of Office, that does not have a key.

 

You can retrieve the Windows product key using this utility:  Showkeyplus - Win10 Forums
