My PC bought new from HP store, requests product key to open Microsoft Word, Power Point etc. Never has happened this to me. Any idea how to solve it?

Hi @Gabriel79,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your new PC is asking for a product key for Microsoft Office, which can happen if Office wasn't pre-installed or activated properly. Here’s how you can address this:
Check if Office is Pre-installed: Sometimes new PCs come with a trial version of Microsoft Office that requires activation. Look for a trial version that might already be installed on your computer.
Verify Your Purchase: If you bought a PC from HP, check if it came with a pre-installed Office package or any included documentation for Office. Sometimes a PC purchase includes a digital license or product key for Office.
Check for Pre-installed Office: If Office was included with your PC, it should be activated using a product key or a digital license. You can usually find this key in the documentation that came with your PC or in an email if it was delivered electronically.
Sign In to Your Microsoft Account: If you have an existing Microsoft account with Office linked to it, try signing in. Sometimes, activation can be done through your Microsoft account if Office was previously associated with it.
Purchase a New License: If you don’t have a product key or if Office wasn’t included with your PC, you may need to purchase a new Office license from Microsoft or an authorized retailer.
Use Office Online: As a temporary workaround, you can use Office Online (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) through your web browser at office.com, which is free and provides basic functionality.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
