HP All-in-One - 22-df0013w
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,  I am having problems with a all-in-one model 22 df0013w.  It began as a no audio problem, perhaps connected to a Windows update 10 days ago.  I tried uninstalling that windows update and it failed.  Then I tried a System Restore, to a point prior to that, and it has hung up and is still running after an 1.5 hours.  Any direction on getting out of this mess?

To resolve the issue with the system restore being hung, you can try the following steps:

  1. Restart the computer: Press and hold the power button until the computer turns off, then turn it on again. Check if the system restore has progressed.

  2. Boot into Safe Mode: Start your computer in Safe Mode and try the system restore again. To enter Safe Mode, restart your computer and repeatedly press the F8 key until the Advanced Boot Options screen appears. From there, select Safe Mode and press Enter.

  3. Use System Restore from the Windows Recovery Environment (WRE): Boot into WRE by pressing the power button and then immediately press and hold the Shift key while clicking on Restart. From the WRE, select "System Restore" and follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. Use System Image Recovery: If the above steps do not work, you can try using System Image Recovery to restore the system. This will erase all your data, so make sure to backup your important files before proceeding. To use System Image Recovery, boot into the WRE and select "System Image Recovery."

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact HP support for further assistance.
