Hello HP Support Team,

I am using a Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop with Windows 11. Recently, whenever I start my laptop, I get the following message on boot screen:
“TPM Security Data Change Detected”
It says that a change has been detected in the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) data and asks me to either:
Press [Y] to Clear and Reset the TPM
Press [N] to Continue Booting
I did not replace any hardware like CPU or motherboard. The issue started suddenly, possibly after a BIOS/firmware update or Windows update.
I am also concerned because the warning mentions BitLocker recovery key requirements after resetting TPM. I do not want to lose access to my system or data.
Current situation:
Laptop boots normally when I press [N]
I have not reset the TPM yet
BitLocker status is unclear
I want to know the safest solution to permanently fix this issue
Please guide me on:
Why this TPM Security Data Change Detected message is appearing
Whether it is safe to reset TPM
How to avoid BitLocker lock issues before resetting TPM
Any BIOS or firmware fix available for this issue

Thank you
