Is it possible to update TPM from 1.2 to 2.0 on this desktop?

Apparently, there may be a way, but it does not seem to go too well.

 

See this discussion and look at DGrove's reply for what to try.

Note that even if you update the TPM security device to v2.0, your PC will not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements.

The issue is not to update to W11 because I'm already running W11 and it works fine, however an appilcation NEEDS TPM2.0 to be able to run. is the only solution downgrading to W10?

That I don't know. 

 

It may be too risky to run the update in W11, but that's up to you.
