I recently upgraded my computer to an intel I7-7700.......the core temps are running around 64C while gaming......is that ok or is it to hot?

I understand that you would like to know the temperature while playing the games.
The 64 degree is normal. It should not cross more than 95 degrees.
Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant
