HP All-in-One - 22-df0023w

I have been getting this error when trying to boot up my computer (HP All-in-one Desktop):

 

The System BIOS update failed.

 

Unable to open BIOS Image file.

 

Nothing I have done has worked to resolve the issue. I cannot get into the startup menu with F10 or F11. I made a BIOS recovery USB drive and that did nothing either.  Is there anything else I can do or is my PC shot?

Hi:

 

Your PC is one of those with the MonkD motherboard and a recent BIOS update has caused this problem on many of the HP AIO PC's with that motherboard.

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if the information at the link below is of help to you...
