Hi @PaulaKKS2011,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To enable the number pad on your wireless keyboard for your HP All-In-One computer, follow these steps:

1. Turn On the Num Lock Key

Ensure that the Num Lock key is enabled. On most keyboards, this is necessary for the number pad to work.

  • Press the Num Lock key on your keyboard. You may need to press the Fn key in combination with the Num Lock key, depending on your keyboard model.

2. Check Keyboard Settings in Windows

Make sure the number pad is not disabled in the Windows settings.

  • Ease of Access Settings:
    1. Press Windows + I to open the Settings menu.
    2. Go to Ease of Access.
    3. Select Keyboard on the left-hand side.
    4. Ensure the Use numeric keypad to move mouse around the screen option is turned off.

3. Update Keyboard Drivers

Sometimes, outdated or corrupt drivers can cause issues with the keyboard.

Device Manager:

  • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Keyboards section.
  • Right-click your wireless keyboard and select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

HP Support Site:

  • Visit the HP Support website.
  • Search for your specific All-In-One model and download the latest keyboard drivers.

4. Resync the Keyboard

If the keyboard is not functioning correctly, try resyncing it with the computer.

  • Resync Process:
    • Turn off the keyboard and turn it back on.
    • Press the Connect button (usually located on the bottom of the keyboard) if available.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to re-pair the keyboard with the computer.

Kindly check the remaining steps in the next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi @PaulaKKS2011,

Please find the next steps below.

5. Check for Physical Issues

Ensure there are no physical obstructions or damage to the keyboard.

  • Inspect the Keyboard:
    • Check for any stuck keys or debris under the keys.
    • Clean the keyboard with compressed air to remove any dust or debris.

6. Test the Keyboard on Another Device

To rule out hardware issues with the keyboard, test it on another computer.

  • If the number pad works on another device, the issue is likely with your computer settings.
  • If it does not work, the keyboard may be defective and might need replacement.

7. Check HP Keyboard Utility (If Applicable)

Some HP keyboards come with a utility software that allows you to customize key functions. Ensure the number pad is enabled in this utility if it exists.

8. BIOS Settings

Ensure that the keyboard’s number pad functionality is enabled in the BIOS.

  • Access BIOS:
    1. Restart your computer and press Esc or F10 (the key might vary) during startup to enter the BIOS setup.
    2. Navigate to the Advanced or Device Configuration tab.
    3. Look for an option related to the numeric keypad and ensure it is enabled.
    4. Save the changes and exit the BIOS.

9. Keyboard Layout

Ensure that the correct keyboard layout is selected in Windows.

  1. Change Keyboard Layout:
    • Press Windows + I to open Settings.
    • Go to Time & Language.
    • Select Language and then Keyboard.
    • Make sure the correct layout (e.g., US QWERTY) is selected.

If you have tried all these steps and the issue persists, there might be a deeper hardware issue with the keyboard. In such cases, contacting HP Phone Support for further assistance or considering a replacement keyboard might be necessary.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

It sounds like you're having trouble with your keyboard's number pad on Windows 11. To resolve this, try pressing the Num Lock key to enable the number pad. If that doesn’t work, updating your keyboard drivers might help. For quick and reliable calculations, you can also use Calculadora Alicia divisiones decimales it's a great alternative when your keyboard isn’t cooperating.
