So the 2 usb ports in the front of my PC have failed in the sense whatever I plug in can't work on my PC (Mouse, Keyboard, etc) however they still have power to charge things from (USB to USB C cable). The 4 USB slots in the back still work fine. Is there anything I can do fix it
I don't know if this is related or not but a couple days ago my bluetooth drivers failed so I got a TP link Bluetooth adapter for my Xbox controller. It happened around the same time

Hi @UDOG248
Welcome back to the Forum.
I would contact HP Support if your PC is in warranty.
The front panel USB ports use a separate USB 3.0 controller on the MB. This is why the rear USB ports are okay.
When all front panel USB ports fail this may indicate a MB USB controller problem or a problem with the USB front panel: assembly wiring or connectors. You could reseat the front panel USB connector on the MB to see if this helps.
I can't say if the USB problem is related to the Bluetooth adapter. However both protocols use MB chipset I/O.

Hi @UDOG248
My pleasure.
I don't work for HP and have never disassembled a HP GT13 chassis so I don't know how HP has configured the front panel I/O.
I do build PCs and have a lot of spare parts. So I would first disconnect and reseat the front panel USB 3.0 connector on the MB. The front USB 3.0 connection should be near the top right of the MB. This connector is a 20 pin female part with one blanked out pin.
I would then try a spare front panel USB assembly to determine if the USB assembly or the MB connection is at fault.
You either have a faulty USB assembly or the MB connector is in trouble. It is also possible both front USB port connectors on the case have become misaligned for some reason (unusual).
Your PC is a custom PC with four MB options:
All of these MBs seem to be limited to one PCie x16 socket for a discrete graphics card. So it may not be possible to add an internal USB 3.0 adapter to get front panel USB 3.0 (the MB connector has failed),
You might try a local PC Tech to see what component has failed.
I don't know if you could get the front panel assembly from HP if this part has failed.
