My PC is running fine, but when I opened the case, I don't see a hard drive. Maybe the hard drive is built into the motherboard? It does show a 500 GB C-Drive under "This PC".

Hi:

 

Your PC probably comes with a 500 GB M.2 NVMe SSD which is about the size and shape of a stick of gum.

 

But you should be seeing a 'Local Disk (C:)' showing up in 'This PC.'

 

This service teardown video shows the location of the M.2 NVMe SSD (starts at minute 10:49):
