Well, I thought my hard drive was toast when I saw 'emminent failure" for the hard drive. I have no backup of an important file. I said to myself "I have nothing to loose by poking around the help menus". If you can get to the Recovery Manager it will let you pick and choose what you want backed up. I used my external usb device. SUCCESS! The computer can burn up now, I don't care.
