I’m trying to upgrade my PC to Windows 11, but I’m getting the following error:

This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements. Here's why: We couldn't update the system reserved partition.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? What steps can I take to fix it and proceed with the upgrade?

I appreciate any help or suggestions!

@nitink1,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

My friend, there are many ways to effectively and safely bypass Microsoft's W11 restrictions, and this (new & improved) YouTube instructional video is one of the easiest ways I know to install Windows 11 on so-called unsupported PCs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSrmhhigEhY&ab_channel=Tips2Fix.

This method is liked very much, such as this User from your country:

I used this method last weekend successfully installing W11 on a Dell OptiPlex 790 SFF (2nd gen Intel Core processor). You just need to pay close attention: pause/rerun whenever needed!

Kind Regards,
