Product: HP Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Factor PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My MOB is a Hewlett-packard......BIOs J01 v02.06 

 

My queston is since this Brand of MOB has a socket of 1155 could it handle a 3rd Gen CPU since 3rd Gen also fit's 1155

will my BIOs support it.

The Intel Q67 chipset does not support the installation of 3rd gen core processors.

 

Here is the list of supported processors for the Q67 chipset...

Here is a link from Intel which specifically states 3rd gen core processors are not supported in the Q67 chipset.
