Hello there,
I am searching for a Toshiba HDD (Internal Harddisk) DT01ABA100 1TB 7200RM SATA 6.0Gb/s with HP P/N: 661699-003 item Number to Purchase.. An equivalent HDD would also be welcome as well.
Do kindly get in touch whenever Possible.

Hi:
Wouldn't you rather install a much better performing 2.5" solid state drive?
WD Blue SA510 SATA SSD 1TB 2.5": Amazon.de: Computer & Accessories
Then you install it inside a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter and mount it where the 3.5" drive goes.
Otherwise, any 3.5" 1 TB 7,200 RPM SATA mechanical hard drive should work fine, but they seem to cost as much as a solid-state drive costs nowadays.

Hi there Paul, Thank you so much for that quick response.
so the Harddisk's you've mentioned are Alternatives to the Toshiba DT01ACA100 SATA 6.0 Gb/o and will surely fit in the same Slot as well, is that correct?

You're very welcome.
Yes, that is correct.
For the solid-state drive, you have to buy that adapter because it is only 2.5," not 3.5" like the one you have now.
The only drives I could find that you were looking for are sold used and come from the UK.

I can't find a service guide for your PC so hopefully you can figure out how to replace the drive, but maybe this video will help.

Anytime.
Glad to have been of assistance.
A solid-state drive will make your PC perform even better than it did when new.
On any desktop PC I own, I removed the mechanical hard drives and installed solid state drives and am very glad I did.
