Product: HP ENVY Desktop - 750-467c
Operating System: Ubuntu LTS

Desktop (HP Envy Desktop) crashed while I was on vacation. I am seeing error messages at boot referencing firmware bugs. I tried reloading the Linux OS but install is unsuccessful. I loaded a BIOS update from HP on a usb drive.  I looked for BIOS update instructions but none appear to match what is on my system screen.  

 

At a loss. Perhaps I am not following the instructions quite right.
