Hello,
As my forum name suggest i'm a derp with a server.
I'd like to start off with saying that i have never worked with any servers of any sort .
A while back someone donated 2 DL360 G8 servers to our working place. It's all voluntary work as we fix things for people who otherwise cannot afford to get their PC or Laptop fixed. This server is a fun side project, we have a database with names and all other kinds of information which we want to store and run on the server.
Here's the problem: There is no OS installed yet. We want to run Linux and we know how to do THAT except the usb 's are not working. We suspect they might have been turned off in the BIOS, the problem is we cant turn them back on ( If that's the problem ) since keyboards and mouses are not working.
Apparently we should be able to access the BIOS with remote access through iLO4?
We have no clue on how to do that.
If someone could help us figure this out it would be of great help.
Thanks in advance, community.
