This PC (HP-ENVY-810) was built by HP back in January of 2014.
Today, Ubuntu install failed. Powered-off, rebooted again from USB into "Try Ubuntu" OK. Selected "Install 20.04.4 LTS" again with minimal install and without downloading updates. Requested to erase disk with no advanced features, no security key.
System hangs-up while "Creating ext4 file sys in partition #2 of SCSI1(0,0,0)(sda)"
Maybe there's a BIOS setting that needs to be changed for Ubuntu?

Hello @Branlon
(1) Disable <Secure Boot> in HP <BIOS>
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03736054
(2) Reboot and test/install again ...
(3) if (2) fails
Enable <legacy> in <BIOS> boot options
(4) Reboot and test/install again ...
