HP Pavillion
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I am unable to properly boot my computer.  It is a HP Pavillion with Windows 7 Premium as the OS.  I tried using all function keys, recovery disks and repair disks and still cannot past the blue screen.  I haven't received the BSOD so unsure if the hard drive has failed or if something else has failed.  Any advice would be helpful.

I ended up replacing the hard drive and used the recovery disks to load the OS.  Computer is back up and runnings.

Can you boot from any Windows 7 Home Premium DVD, and then choose the "Repair" (not the "Install") option?

At power-on time, launch the HP Hardware Diagnostics?

Tell us the results from running the tests of the RAM and of the disk-drive.

What words are displayed on that BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) ?

Please explain what you mean by "have not received".
