Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hp pav 21 . I need to change the boot order to boot from a device in my system or to possibly re install win 8.1

Hi:

 

You shouldn't have to change the boot order to boot from another device.

 

If you want to boot from a DVD for example, have the DVD in the drive.

 

Turn on or restart the PC.

 

Press the ESC key to get the menu of options.

 

Select the F9 boot options menu, and from that select the DVD drive and press the Enter key.

 

Watch the screen for a message to press any key to boot from the DVD.  Press any key.

 

The PC should then boot from the DVD drive.
