Unable to open anything

Hp all in one pc

My pc will turn on and allows me to put my password in. It takes me to the desktop but all icons have disappeared and am unable to open anything

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...

My presumption is that you are clicking shortcuts and nothing is happening, right?

 

Unfortunately, this is not a new issue with Win10 Windows Updates.
