Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am unable to update my BIOS. It keeps giving me this pop error message.Capture.JPG

The problem is the update is attempting to place the bios on a recovery partition.  That (HP) partition keeps copies of previous bios and it seems the partition is not large enough to hold an additional bios.

Try using the second option of creating a recover USB and then booting that USB to do the install.

Let me know if that has the same problem. The 3rd option is much more complicated.  You did not mention your model or product ID and I guessed that your download was sp146742

Why are you updating the BIOS?  Did the HP support assistant require it?  There is a significant risk on updating any bios.
