HP ProDesk 400 G4 Desktop Mini
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

We have a custom image brought down from our WDS - Windows 10 64 bit on a new  HP ProDesk 400 G4 Desktop Mini.

One driver I can't seem to update after multiple drivers installed from the HP site for this model.

Code 28 also under Driver Status..

Driver details tab I have this:

ACPI\HPIC000C\2&DABA3FF&2

Usually after some Google searches and process of elimination for drivers I can get it. Not in this case.

Thanks

HI Paul!,

I was replying back the same time. I found it. It was the HP Application Driver. On the HP page for this model. I just happened to go down the line from the top and its the first one. 😁🙌

Description:

This package provides HP Application Driver for the ACPI device HPIC000C on supported HP computer models that are running a supported operating system.

Thank you sir for replying back so fast with a solution!

Hi:

I have zipped up and attached the driver file you need for that device, below.

You will need to manually install the driver since it has no auto install option.

Download and unzip the file I attached to its folder.

Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to the device manager, click on the ACPI\HPIC000C device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.

Then restart the PC.
