My computer originally came with Windows 8. I upgraded to Windows 10. Now, I am trying to update to Windows 10 Creator but the installation halts at 40% with the following code and message:
OxC1900101 - 0x30018
The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP operation
I think I am missing drivers for Windows 10 but I cannot seem to find what I need to install.

Thanks for the response. I had to do a complete backup then a Clean Install to get the Creators (v. 1703). I followed the instructions for a clean install very carefully because it could have been a disaster!!
It worked fine and yesterday, I did an up date to v. 1709 with no issues.

HP does not provide drivers for Windows 10 for your PC.
You have to get the drivers from Microsoft. Are you allowing Windows 10 setup to download and install updates?
