Hey Everyone,
Looking to update old bios 786E2 v02.04, hp compaq dc5700. Can't find it.
Any help would be helpful. Link or something.

Hi:
The latest BIOS for your model is v02.09, Jun 26, 2013.
It is only written to be run on XP or Vista, so what I have done is I have zipped up and attached the DOS based v02.09 BIOS flash files below.
I am going to give you the instructions to update the BIOS without having to be in Windows...
Get a USB flash drive and format it with the FAT 32 file system.
Unzip the files I attached, and copy just the file contents in the folder to your USB flash drive.
Restart the PC, and tap the F10 key to get access to the BIOS setup menu.
Select the File tab>Flash System ROM command.
Select the USB flash drive.
The PC should now 'see' the BIOS update files on the flash drive.
Follow the on screen instructions to update the BIOS.

Thanks a lot, I did step by step and it worked. The reason why I do this, because cpu 100% and tried everything already just left to update bios and we will see, but anyway, it was old version and needed to. Thanks again
