Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I updated my HP Z 230 Windows 10 to version 1903, update completed and reboot and when the windows logo came up, it went into "Entering Power Save" and the screen goes black. Power cycle it and boot it to Safe Mode with network, same problem. Any one has this issue?

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

This is a new W10 1903 update problem. Only do the update with a keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

Try restarting your PC with only a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Sounds like you have a hardware driver issue. Could be a connected peripheral device.

Do you have a W10 1809 or 1803 offline operating system image backup you can use to recover this PC?

Very hard to fix a Windows 10 update problem if the operating system does not load at startup or you see no error screens.

Can you get to the UEFI startup menu? Run diagnostics.

Grzwacz,

Thanks, I was able to use the Repair Disk to restore back to ver 1809. It seems the 1903 doesn't work with my machine.
