HP Pavilion 590-p0019
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There was a persistant message about the bios needing to be updated on my daughters computer. I found the correct bios (for 8433) and ran the HP installer for it. Now the computer will power on but there is no signal to the monitor.

I followed HP directions for clearing CMOS and for trying to recover BIOS but non of that has worked.

Is there a reason for this and how do I fix it?

Hi:

This person seems to have had the same issue:

Look at the suggestion I posted in my last reply.

The subject was marked as solved because that was not the original question the person asked, and he asked me a follow-up question.
