Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Seeking last known Bios for this old timer board installed as a replacement a few years ago.  This goes back a number of years and I don't find any references to the 6.10 AMI update.  Any ideas on how to approach?  May go with a newer board but thought I would pursue any possibilities.  thanks in advance

I have found different info about that motherboard but it is conflicting.  Take a look to get the HP part# info and it might be helpful - is it an AMD or Intel CPU?

It would really be helpful if you know the model number of the HP PC it was from.

Thanks reply.  Looks like this board model was original in  HP Pavilion Slimline s5710f Desktop PC.  Here's a better description.  https://the620guy.com/product/hp-h-apricot-rs780l-uatx-624832-001-motherboard-athlon-ii-x2-250-3-0gh... I bought a few of these some time ago.  One of the boards works great in another machine.  The one in question has problem powering a PCI-E 10/100/1000 ethernet card.  Could be a bad board.  Anything goes with aftermarket stuff as we all know.  Originally Windows 7 vintage.  guess I'll try a newer board to see if there is any difference.  Sources show that there have not been any updated BIOS in years.  Thanks Old Timer. Solved.  Put the new 10/1000 PCI-E card in a different slot PCI-E slot.  Also changed the Cat5E cable.  Works like a charm.  Same thing occurred on another computer with the same configuration and same RS780L HP motherboard.  Sometimes you just get lucky.  Originally designed for WIndows 7 and now operating Windows 10.  Running without BIOS update which hasn't been issued in years.  Going back to 2009.  Not compliant with Windows 11 in 2025.  That's OK.  It will run great on Linux.

Good to see that things worked out.  OEM's rarely get get a BIOS update if everything is working properly, especially from that long ago.  Windows 7 era is way old for computer BIOS updates.

Still some life in that old hardware!!   And yes, Linux will run nicely on that.
