Hi Catsears,

 

It is not my intention to hijack this thread.

 

But check this (Link) for details on creating an OS backup image.

 

A backup can be restored to a different HDD on the same PC. A clone would be used if you want to test Windows 10 on a different HDD while retaining the option to go back to Windows 7 by connecting the original Windows 7 HDD to the PC.

 

This method allows you to go back to Windows 7 if you can't adjust to Windows 10.

 

At some point in the future you will have to say "goodbye" to Windows 7.
