Upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11

I ran the new Windows 11 Check App on my PC and it said that my PC was incompatible. As far as I can tell it's because the OS requires an active Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0). This is to support hardware-level protection instead of software only. 

I went into my BIOS to Security Settings. I found TPM listed but the value for it is blank ('                '). Does this mean TPM is not available on my PC? Is there away to just turn it on? Will I have to install an actual TPM module on my PC's motherboard? 

If you need any more info let me know. Thanks for any advice that you can offer.

Just so you know -- Microsoft is NOT offering any Upgrades to Windows 11 at this time and will not be for at least 4 months and maybe longer than that.  The MS function the other day was an Announcement of future plans, not the release of Windows 11.

In addition, a LOT more is required to run Windows 11 than just TPM.
