Use play button on keyboard with out FN

Is there a way to use the "Play" or "Next" buttons on the keyboard without having to hold down the fn key? 

It seems pretty silly that I have to hold down two buttons to pause or play music. 

I have the same keyboard that comes with the machine. Everything is updated. Machine is only a month old.

Many, many others including me prefer another way, we use F1 to F12 everyday. For laptops/notebooks with built-in kayboards we can change from BIOS but for external keyboards, please try the followin way
