HP Recommended

Whenever I fully shot off my computer, when I turn it back on, it says that my user profile can't load. I have to keep putting in my password over and over until it brings me to the general, unpersonalized homescreen without any of my settings. It isn't until I restart it that it loads my user profile. This process usually takes about ten minutes every time. Instead of shutting it fully off, I've been putting it on sleep mode most of the time. Now my computer just won't turn on even though it is fully charged. The battery is really hot and the power light keeps blinking. This computer is only seven months old and still under warranty. How do I get it fixed? Do I bring it to Best Buy (where I bought it) or do I have to send it directly to HP?
