My device is hp laptop (Windows 10).The webcam won't work. The camera driver is missing from device manager so I can't reinstall driver from there.I have already tried:
a)Troubleshooting
b)Tried"scan for hardware changes"
c)Tried "Add legacy hardware"
d)Driver is not in the'imaging devices'.
e)Tried resetting camera app.
f)Restarted the device 3-4 times.
I tried downloading driver from official hp site but didn't work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi @Hunny_123
This usually happens because Windows sometimes sees the webcam as a USB device.
Enter the Device Manager, then enter Universal BUS drivers, there uninstall all USB drivers. Restart the device and see if it works.
If this does not work in Device Manager click on the menu "View" and then show hidden devices, if it shows you the webcam, click on the driver and indicate to update, in the next window select "Browse my computer..." and then "Choose from the list..." you should see "USB Video Device" select that one and restart the computer at the end of the installation. .
