Want to upgrade pc processors.

I want to upgrade processors.  From a motherboard 2B43 with Intel Core i5-4460T, 1.9 GHz @ 1900 GHz speed to a processor of at least 2.33 GHz.  Can that be done?  Or will I need to change out the motherboard with a new processor already installed?
