HP Pavilion 590-p0053w
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My system crashed.  I tried Restore and even factory reset, but could not recover Win 10.  The only error message I've seen is: Stop Code 0x000021a.  I have a recovery partition "d:" in my pc, also I have a Recovery USB and a DVD Windows repair disk. I tried to boot with my usb and with the DVD, but both were not recognized.   Since the HP Repair/Restore menus have not worked, perhaps the only way would be to boot from Command Prompt.  From the Cmd Prompt how would I change the boot order to recognize either the USB or dvd ?  Would appreciate any assistance.

First verify your hard drive is good.  Press ESC and run diagnostics.  Make sure the hard drive test is passed.

If the drive is good and your recovery USB is good then the F11 feature can be used to restore

Press F11 as described starting at step 9

You need to boot the USB and do a startup repair or boot a recovery point.  Post back here if the USB boots if you need more help.

Where did the data on the USB come from?  Did you use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool?

Unless I am mistaken, your product ID is 3LA712AA#ABAL and cloud recovery is supported

If you end up having to replace your hard drive I recommend you install Windows 10 64 bit instead of 32 bit.  It is a free upgrade.
