Unsure

I was going through all of the computer CD's and DVD's I have accumulated and came across a sealed HP package with the label 589974-ZH1. There is a packing slip in the bag with part numbers 589974-ZH9 and 589974-ZH1. I've tried searching for these numbers on the HP site to verify what they are but the numbers are not found. I believe they are recovery disks but don't know if they are for my current computer or an old one that I no longer have. My current desktop is a p6670t. How can I find out these disks are for that PC?

Hi:

According to what is listed at the link below, the part number for the recovery disk set for your current PC is 589974-ZH3.

http://www.computersurgeons.com/p-22482-windows-7-64-bit-recovery-kit-589974-zh3-for-hp-pavilion-des...

That still doesn't guarantee that the set you have in your possession is not for your current model though.

The ZH might be a revision number for the set.

Googling the part numbers you posted reveals no info at all--including the HP Partsurfer website and the HP part store website.
