I am trying to do a factory reset from image. After the computer restarted I get the error

Critical Error detected...

- No Partition Found

- No process script found

 

Unknown error...

 

Command prompt is working but I can not proceed.

Found the solution... used diskpart to assign drive letter c to the windows partition,

ran diskpart

list drive

select drive 0

list volumes

select volume <#>

assign c

 

I think I remembered the commands used to do this, but I may have some wrong. Used help within diskpart to find the commands to set the volume with the correct drive letter, volume was marked as Windows. Hope this might help others that run into this issue.

Hi:

 

If the built in recovery system isn't working, try this...

 

Your PC should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool, which by using another Windows PC with W7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive, you can make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
