Where can I find the windows product key for my PC? I looked inside and outside the case and kind find it anywhere.

Hi:

 

The Windows product key is in the BIOS.  

 

Microsoft has required all PC manufacturers to put the product key in the BIOS since W8 came out.

 

No more product key stickers.

 

If you would like to see the Windows product key and what version of Windows is installed, you can run the free utility that I have zipped up and attached below to provide that info.

 

You do not need the product key to reinstall Windows as long as you install the version of Windows the key is good for.
