Hi,

What is the currently installed BIOS?

Why do you feel that you need to update your installed BIOS?

Is everything, as in OS and internal hardware devices, not working as expected?

If everything works, it isn't a bad idea to put that have to update my BIOS idea in the bin.

Newer isn't always better.

Be aware that the newer BIOS have a feature, coded in by design, that makes rolling back to a previous BIOS no longer possible.

With those things in mind, here are your options:

I am asking because the latest DCH graphics drivers from NVIDIA do not work correctly on my PC.

And NVIDIA support told me that it could be because I have an old bios driver. Because after installing newest driver my PC is slowed down and the mouse freezes. when I install an very older, non-DCH driver, everything is fine back.

Are you aware that there is no difference between a DCH video driver and the standard UWP (universal Windows Platform) driver?

NVIDIA support misled you a bit.
Some manufacturers tend to blame hardware or firmware before admitting their own software or firmware has a problem.

You do not have an old BIOS driver. It is a UEFI driver and the newest available for your PC's motherboard.
The only thing that is a little "older" is your motherboard's chipset.

The issue is likely to be with that particular driver. I have run into slow down or stuttering issues caused by drivers before.

The way I  resolved it was by installing an older or newer different version.

You should be able to use the NVIDIA forums to see if others have had the same sort of issue with that particular driver.

Where or how do I find the newer motherboard chipset driver for my pc?

HP Recommended

It is at the support portal.

I provided a hyperlink to is in my very first reply to your question. in my first reply.

Once you are at the portal, click the drivers & software title link.

Now you must select the OS and then in the driver portal click on the  + All Drivers section.

Now select and click on + Driver-chipset.

Look at the dates to see which is most recent.

Click on the one you want and download it to a folder you can easily locate on your PC.
