The HP desktop stats with the HP logo, then clocks and shows a black screen with a mouse pointer. nothing happens and it stays like that.

after turning it on and off several times I get CMOS error.

I want to download a BIOS on a USB key from a laptop but I am confronted with multiple selections all with different ROM Family SSID.

How do I find the ROM Family SSID # on the desktop that does not work?

 

These are the selections offered:

HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 81BA)
HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 8245)
HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 82DD)
