The HP Recovery Manager was doing a factory reset, after 2 1/2hrs, installing software, it came up with the following message, 'The system cannot find the drive specified. C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe.
A message also states HP Recovery Manager Restoration Incomplete. Please select pne of the following buttons: Save Log, Details, Retry.
Puahed the Retry button but it goes back to tge same message 'The system xannot find tge specified drive.....'
Please someone help, I need my computer desperately.

It would be wise to run run diagnostics to see if the hard drive has failed. Just before a cold startup, start tapping the Esc key. Continue tapping the Esc key after pressing the start button. A popup menu should show up. Then pick F2 to run the diagnostics.
Report back with results.
I'm not an HP employee.
