Hi

My best guess is the PC's hardware is being overwhelmed by operating system and installed software demands. You probably have a lot of startup programs in Task Manager and a lot of processes running.

Check your hardware to eliminate a failing HDD or RAM problems as follows: Start the PC. Tap "ESC". Select "F2"

Run system and component tests.

Your PC has:

A mobile Ryzen four core CPU

Eight GBs of RAM with some of this RAM being used by the integrated AMD graphics

A slow platter HDD

You might get some relief for a limited period of time by backing up data. Then do a clean operating system installation. Restore data and see how it goes.

Or you could spend some money to add a second 8 GB stick of RAM and replace the slow platter HDD with a SATA SSD. You also have a M.2 socket on the MB which can support a 2280 NVME drive at PCIe x2 data transfer rates.

More RAM and a faster storage device may solve your problem. But the CPU could still be a bottleneck.

You would have to decide if spending money to increase performance is cost effective in your scenario.
