Product: HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1177c
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Backed up programs and files and did an HP Recovery on my HP Envy desktop and I still can't install HP Support Assistant. It starts to install then quits after the Command Prompt screen flashes....then nothing??

Welcome to HP Support Community. 

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall HP Support Assistant By following the steps provided below:

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
  3. Select HP Support Assistant, and then click Uninstall.
  4. Click Yes on the next screen to confirm that you want to uninstall. Restart your computer to complete the process.

Now, you may download the HP Support Assistant from this Weblink.
