@Stanmaman

For Windows 10 to see other devices, it needs the right drivers.

I have an Android phone and had the same issues until I went to Samsung and downloaded and installed their Mobile drivers.

HP does not provide drivers for Apple devices so you will have to contact Apple Support to get the drivers you need.

Good Luck

Your computer is running the built-in "backup" software.

It tried to access the USB-connected iPhone, but you did not "authorize" (via a "tap" on your iPhone) Windows to access your files (e.g., pictures) that are stored on your iPhone.

Microsoft Windows either has the correct device-drivers for the iPhone, or will automatically download them from the Internet.  So, do not waste your time looking for more device-drivers.

Disconnect the iPhone, and rerun the Windows "backup" software.
