Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am a Insider Program Previewer since 2018. I purchase a refurbished HP computer which do not meet the minimum requirement for Windows 11 update when available. I was informed on Microsoft help pages to contact my PC Mfr. (HP) for help and support in updating my PC's Firmware (BIOS) making Secure Boot capable (safety) and to support TPM

Secure boot requirements:

Hardware requirement Details UEFI Version 2.3.1 Errata C variables

Variables must be set to Secure Boot=1 and Setup Mode=0 with a signature database (EFI_IMAGE_SECURITY_DATABASE) necessary to boot the machine securely pre-provisioned, and including a PK that is set in a valid KEK database. For more information, search for the System.Fundamentals.Firmware.UEFISecureBoot system requirements in PDF download of the Windows Hardware Compatibility Program Specifications and Policies.

Others like myself will need tech support from HP to meet Windows 11 PC requirement.

I need your input.

Stay safe out there.

Daniel

@myjamaican -- access the HP Support web-site, and do a search for the model-number of your computer, to find support documents for your computer. Maybe, you will find a BIOS UPDATE and updated TPM software that you can install.

How old is your computer? If it is more than a few years old, it may not be compatible with Windows 11.

Is there some way for you, as a responsible "Windows Insider", to get support from Microsoft for your hardware?
